Clinical Hypnotherapy

Clinical Hypnotherapy is very different to the Hypnosis seen on TV.

When a trained Clinician uses Hypnotherapy it is done with the consent of the client.  The Processes are explained fully and the work is carried out following the protocol recommended by the British Institute of Hypnotherapy and the General Hypnotherapy Register.

As communication needs to take place throughout the session, the Clinical Hypnotherapist uses a light level of trance, similar to those experienced while day dreaming or meditating.

These are some of the issues that Clinical Hypnotherapy is used for:

  • Confidence
  • Anxiety
  • Self esteem
  • Depression
  • Stress
  • Phobias
  • Weight
  • Smoking
